Take an epic journey along the Canning Stock Route through the eyes of some of Australia’s leading contemporary Aboriginal artists.
Yiwarra Kuju explores Western Australia’s remote desert region through Dreaming stories, painting, sculpture, cultural artefacts, film, photography and award-winning multimedia.
This landmark exhibition is supported by a rich public events program, which includes interpretive tours by Aboriginal curators and filmmakers and outdoor projections of short films and photography. This is a special Festival exhibit open to the public in November.
This exhibition was developed by the National Museum of Australia in partnership with FORM.
